Eric Theodore Cartman, more commonly known as Cartman, is one of the main characters on the TV show South Park. He is depicted as a stereotype of a typical American, and is both obese and extremely insensitive. Because he is a Nazi sympathizer, he constantly makes fun of his friend Kyle for being Jewish.
Cartman has been stated to weigh 90 pounds, though this was later corrected to 190 when he appeared on NFL to
introduce the Denver Broncos lineup. Regardless of which number is canonical, he weighs at least 20 pounds more than he should for his age. His problem is not glandular; he stuffs his face with junk food, KFC, and pie.
Cartman's mother, Liane, is a crack whore. She engages in extremely permissive parenting methods and allows Cartman to do basically anything he wants (though in some episodes, most notably
HUMANCENTiPAD, she has refused his demands due to them being too extreme).
Contrary to popular belief,
Eric Cartman was not named after Erich Hartmann. The original
inspiration was a man named Matt Karpman, who was a friend of both Matt and Trey
