The feudal lords (male and female) want 100 billion dollars from sports fans, or they lose cam Newton, and soon enough, their team. People talk shit about Jerry Richardson now, but Jerry Richardson didn't try to control sports fans with threats. Even when the Panthers were having their worst seasons, their stadium didn't seem like a big circus tent, ready to pack up and head for another town.

If theres a good thing that came out of Cam Newton's departure from Carolina, it is that Carolina wasnt quick to trade Cam for a white quarterback. It's a good thing for where the league is headed that quarterback and leadership opportunities have opened up, that the captain doesnt have to look, think, or act a certain way. There is such a thing as people who didn't and still don't respect Peyton Manning, so whether or not people respect you doesnt determine who you are or what you do in life, even if it has an effect on you. It's good the league hasn't given up on something because it's still new and unfamiliar.
There havent been a lot of guys doing what Cam Newton is doing now, theres also teammates, opponents, fans, coaches, and the media he's had to try and get recognition and respect for what he's doing, and has the potential to do. It's not an easy road even if you make a lot of money, but it does still come with choices. Theres a world filled with criticism, it's going to be there anyway.

He won't be forgotten even if he disappeared, but he went with the prettiest team of the 2000s over the Cardiac Cats. That was fucked up.

Cam Newton thinks he is over the hill because of his profession, but he's too young for retirement. His best years don't look like they're ahead of him, but he won't know if he retires, and if football is what he loves to do for a living, why would he?
Cam Newton seems to lose focus and determination more than he did in his 20's, at times he doesn't seem like the same guy he was even though he is.

Cam Newton has to go out and buy a home in 5 different cities now to prepare for the next few years.

The day Cam Newton stopped having fun playing football was the day Cam Newton started thinking about winning and losing, and started blaming racism and all the outside stuff that didnt matter. Since racism doesnt define who and what somebody is, neither do slogans and phrases, or police incidents, even if theres a lot of focus on these things by the media. The media doesnt define all of what somebody is, it doesnt encapsulate somebody.
No team wants to lose, no team likes to lose, it's not human to enjoy losing. Still, theres not much of a point to winning if you're not having a good time, and when winning becomes more important to you than having a good time, youre missing the point of it all. The point is not to win sometimes, it's how you got to where you're going (rather than what all you've accomplished or how long you've been doing something) that you go back to if you get lost, or lose sight of what you were once trying to (or succeeding at) do(ing). People in Carolina didnt want to see Cam Newton go, but he did have a choice, he wasnt left with no choice.
