ghoster coaster

While dating, when one person seems to be ghosting the other but then miraculously reappears once again after the other has come to terms with being the ghostee and is already over it. They often make a routine of it, thus causing an up and down roller coaster effect.

Friend #1: girrrl did you ever hear from that dude again after he ghosted you?
Friend #2: ya! He sent me a message asking how I’m doing. I’m not gonna reply. I ain’t out here to ride the ghoster coaster.

Beast Coast

Although the term had been used to refer to the East Coast for several years previously (as a response to the claim that "the West Coast is the best coast"), since 2012 "Beast Coast" has emerged as a way to refer to the new wave of fresh, young, often experimental, underground hip-hop artists gaining prominence in New York.

Some of the most notable "Beast Coast" artists are the Pro Era collective (which includes Joey Bada$$), the Underachievers and Flatbush Zombies.

coastie

Girls from the coastal areas of the United States, who for some reason decided to flood the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Very easy to spot, owing to their overuse of: Uggz boots (even when it isn't cold or snowy), large sunglasses (even when there is no sun), messy ponytails (for that "I just completed the walk of shame and didn't shower today" look), and anything North Face, typically the Denali jackets or knee-length down coats. They also like to wear stretchy black or maroon pants bunched up around the tops of their Uggz. During the winter, Coasties can be identified by their bright orange skin- they are notorious over-users of tanning booths.

God, she's such a coastie! Look at her boots- it's May! What is she doing in Wisconsin???!!!

west coast turnaround

Trucker slang for stimulants (amphetamines or extra-strong caffeine pills), used to keep the driver awake and alert. Often used when driving late at night, or on a second shift when the driver should be pulled over and sleeping in a motel or rest stop.

My second driver is a west coast turnaround, and he's gonna drive us all the way back home.

coastal boy

Coastal Boy: a white male native to the South Carolina Low Country. Coastal Boys are identifiable by their Performance Fishing Gear shirts, visors, and Costa Delmar sunglasses with croakies carefully placed on the back of the neck. The hair of a Coastal Boy is swept down in front and flipped up in the back, thus often confused for a classic Justin Bieber.
