Abington Heights, a public school district in NEPA, is thought to be "top notch" by many. But after attending the school, I'll tell you it plainly: As of June 2006 (which is when I am writing this), Abington Heights has proved to be nothing but striking teachers and money spent on athletics. In order to keep the student:teacher ratio at 300:1 (or something more reasonable like 30:1, but is still ridiculously high), Abington Heights High School has gotten rid of all its English and most of its Social Studies electives.
The kids at the high school range from Abercrombie wearing preppy kids to pothead ICP kids. With such a wide range of students, one of the most popular shared activities among them is making fun of each other behind their backs. (Though I suppose what high school isn't like that?)

A fairly large city in the DFW Metroplex with the Dallas Cowboys Stadium, Texas Rangers, Six Flags Over Texas, Hurricane Harbor, The Arlington Highlands and other attractions. It does have a ghetto mall (The Parks at Arlington), but it's not all bad. There are many restaurants in the area too. No other teenager will admit it, but the school system is pretty great. There are a lot of extracurriculars and the sports aren't bad either. It's not a bad place to live(:
Arlington, TX is not ALL ghetto (like any other city there is a bad part of town) and is great place to visit.

In the southern part of the county, many minorities can be found along with sports fields. It also has it own transportation sysytem called the ART busses.Parts of it are getting to look more and more like NYC(Rossylyn,Ballston and Crystal City)and 95% of kid's parents work goverment,military etc. making a shitload of money.small colonial houses are being replaced more and more by high rise apartment buildings,mansions and lofts It's also home to the PENTAGON-which in fact is NOT in DC. It is also where if you're a Republican, you are a tiny minority who has no say in anything and should hightail it to somewhere else in the state besides Northern Virginia.7 out of 10 eligible people voted for Kerry or Gore. arlington is where some of the best schools (Drew Model School,Gunston Middle School and Wakefield High school) are located, it OC look like shit. the schools there have some of the best teachers and student activities. where the schools are filled with drama and looks like a living breathing degrassi. also where a lot of the start of the america was full of rich history.here there are a huge diversity where you can find a hawaiian,black and german person all in one room.so most peoples children are more than on race or 100% of somthing. the shopping and food is great.everyone takes DC for granted, but still keeps the Redskins faith going. one more thing its line is virginia is for lovers!

It has one high school, naturally named Upper Arlington High School. The city draws much jealousy from the surrounding suburbs such as HIlliard, Dublin, Worthington, etc. because of the economic success of the families residing in UA. ANother thing that draws jealousy from the other suburbs is that Upper ARlington High School consistently and continually rapes other high schools at sports such as Lacrosse, Football, Swimming, Water Polo, Hockey etc. It's 100+ Div. 1 state championships are a record in Ohio high schools, and therefore cats from across the scioto and olentangy rivers whine and try to insult UA.
