Facebook Vortex

1. a place in Facebook, created by the human mind, where "late" messages, and notifications are sucked into, resulting in delayed arrival. The subconscious mind creates this to make an excuse for forgetting to reply, for lack of attention, and for flat out ignoring someone on Facebook.

Like making a point for an argument, but doing so via facebook. Sometimes this can be through debating your results on a quiz or just posting something commenting on a recent news event.

The point can be made for better or for worse.

Facebook duty

Facebook duty is

1: an individual who call off of work claiming illness or some other personal issues but is caught posting on facebook stating to the effects of " skipped out on work to go take my gf to McDonalds".

2: an individual who signs up for a tour in the armed forces reserve and is caught spending all most all his alleged time while on reserve duty pulling facebook duty.

3: an individual that calls off all appointments with friends and family just so he/she can play games and wax thier Epeen on facebook.

Friend 1:Did you hear andy got busted pulling facebook duty..

Friend 2: Yea well if he wouldnt post on facebook every hour that wouldnt of happened.

friend 1: Of course when you tell the boss that you would go hang out with them but you noshow and get busted online playing farmville.

Facebook Live

A feature on Facebook that allows users to live stream what they're doing at that moment. Typically used to stream events, games, vacations, etc., but nowadays people use it to stream something lame like what they're eating for dinner, what they're watching on Netflix, or a million other things we could care less about.

Seriously, if you're gonna use Facebook live, at least show us something worthwhile like your overseas trip or something. Nobody cares what goes on in your day to day life.
