When you are repulsed, disenchanted, and exasperated with the level of ignorance a person maintains after calm rational debate and a preponderance of factual evidence ; you just want to give up and slap their senseless ass.

I explained to the young man that if you pour gasoline on a fire it won't go out it will burn even more; he burned down his family home and I trump slapped his ignorant ass when he came over to my house to call the fire department.
