Stockingholm Syndrome

A word used to describe patients who are eager to wear tight compression stockings beyond the required post-treatment timeframe.

*Derived from Stockholm syndrome; where a bond/sympathy develops between a victim and their captor.

Patient: (after wearing compression stocking for *weeks) : "You know, I actually miss wearing those stocking"

Doctor: "Ah, you have 'Stockingholm syndrome'. This may pass in two to three days".

Maryland Syndrome

Maryland Syndrome is when something is soooooooooooo bad or cringy it actually becomes good. For example: The Maryland Flag looks so bad it actually looks good because its uniqueness.

Guy 1: Yo that flag looks so bad and unusual it is giving me Maryland Syndrome.
Guy 2: Same here, I love how it is different from all of the other flags

LS Syndrome

LS Syndrome also known as Light Skinned Syndrome is considered a personality disorder amongst peers due to ones way of reacting in a such sensitive manner. Another diagnose of one suffering from LS is "being full of thy self" or self-centered.

Why did he react like that? He's acting mad light skinned, now i see why he's diganose with LS Syndrome.
