Abbreviated as ABTG - Always Be Thanking Gary.
Always thank Gary for his involvement in anything regardless if he was involved or not. His mere supreme existence is a good enough reason to thank him or anyone else that did the work by saying Thanks Gary.
This can be directed at Gary legitimately or towards anyone completing a task that is thank worthy.

Person A and Person B completes a task
Person A updates the team on the completion of the task. The whole team would thank them by saying "Thanks Gary!"

Interjection. Used when a person helpfully translates an acronym, allowing everyone in the room to understand their internet jargon. Named after Emil Sinclair, from the novel Demian, who was then adapted into a character in the Korean videogame Limbus Company, and often translates Ryōshu's (from Hell Screen) acronym speak.

I read a news article that said Hamas made the hostages thank them upon release...
