A condition reached after much initial exuberance about the prospect of hiring additional staff, only to be worn down by a plethora of mediocre, under-qualified or part-time insane candidates, leaving the interviewer with the beer goggle equivalent mentality that even a sub-par candidate late in the system has some great appeal that derives more from a desire to get the process completed than from finding the correct person to hire

Jim is definitely experiencing Interview Fatigue Syndrome. The last candidate he wanted to hire actual wore green socks outside his suit pants.

summer movie fatigue

This is the fatigue that sets in during the summer blockbuster season. It usually happens about the middle of July when the majority of the high-end summer movies have premiered and have been in the theaters for over a month, some since May. This time period is when theaters are nearly empty.

I saw Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and had the theater to myself. It was a case of summer movie fatigue.

Rubber stamp Fatigue

A form of mental exhaustion resulting from extensive, continous writing, signing, scanning. faxing, printing, converting and editing official documents. It is exhaberbated by phone calls and texting and leads to a sense of numbness, detachment, problems with even basic thought processes and a sudden onset of rage if a telephone rings.

A person with Rubber Stamp Fatigue is sitting infront of a pc, surrounded by paper documents stares at a ringing mobile phone which is displaying a number of a very important call but just stares, unmoving and doesn't pick it up.

Mall fatigue

The feeling experienced prior to christmas day when you simply can't continue shopping due to excessive tiredness, confusion and anxiety. Usually triggered by many hours spent in shopping malls, mall fatigue will cause you make bad consumer decisions in an attempt to finish quickly and escape the horror of the christmas shopping rush.

Shopper 1: "I simply can't go on. I think I have mall fatigue."
Shopper 2: "I can tell - your eyes are red and you can't walk in a straight line."
Shopper 1: "I know. Make it stop!"
