student ghetto

n. an urban neighborhood primarily inhabited by college students, and located near major universities. A combination of students' low incomes, lifestyles, and constant demand for housing provides landlords no incentive to maintain their properties and locals no incentive to stay. Although shabby, these areas usually have fairly row crime rates when compared with actual ghettos.

Examples include: Oakland in Pittsburgh (Pitt and CMU), Hyde Park in Chicago (UChicago), and the entirety of State College, PA (Penn State)

West side ghetto boyz is a new crew located in the west side of Anaheim with a unknown number of members they tag using “west side ghetto boyz,GBZ,WSGB,Anaheim ghetto boyz” they are known for their beatings or as kids now a day say it “pack outs” on enemies. Their main opposition is VAIL ST LOCOS, 18ST, WS LONGO, UNA, FOLKS , NIGHCRAWLERS and many little crews. They are a very young crew/gang but is probably the biggest youngster crew/gang in OC and from my eyes soon to be MOST HATED.

Asian Ghetto

A term referring to a food court on Durant between Telegraph and Bowditch streets in Berkeley. Though the actual name is "Durant Food Court", nobody calls it that because it lacks character. It is home to many Asian or Asian run restaurants and favorite dishes include Kimchi Fried Rice with Spam, Donuts, and a plethora of other foods. Also there is always a black guy playing hella loud music outside. Not to be confused with the Gourmet Ghetto on Berkeley's Northside.
