sink wizard

Derived from "wizard" which is used in place of "taking a wizz" or peeing. The sink wizard is when there's no toilet backstage, only a sink. Urination happens in the sink, thus summoning the sink wizard. Coined by the US death metal band Cannibal Corpse in the DVD Global Evisceration.

The toilets were disgusting so I summoned the sink wizard.

Heat Sink - Anything or anyone that pulls a person's energy away from the task at hand.

A heat sink might be friends, video games, chores/obligations, etc.

I wanted to get to the gym today but my grandma called and spent all day on the phone with me. She's such a heat sink.

sinking bottles

A colloquialism used in the Upper Midwest for ice fishing. Ice fishing mainly involves putting a line into a hole in the ice and then drinking beer, playing cards, and watching sports. Empty beer bottles are dropped in the hole and filled with water to sink to the bottom of the lake. There are usually more bottles sunk than fish caught, thus you're in an ice house "sinking bottles".

Bryce and I spent about 5 hours sinking bottles and didn't catch a single fish. We did get a nice beer blanket on though!
