Rosie the Riveter

renaissance woman. A lady that can do it all, in and out of the home.

Prior to the world wars, men were the ones in the workforce while women stayed at home. When the men went off to war, there was a political campaign urging women to enter the workforce. The character portraying the "can do it all" spirit is Rosie the Riveter. She's able to balance both the home and work life.

An image that may have been seen is a woman holding an iron as well as a wrench.

She's such a Rosie the Riveter, look at her taking hold of both her home and work.

Rosie

She's that kind of girl that makes you smile whenever she's around, you choke when you try to speak to her but you can't stay away from her. She rarely smiles because she is insecure and broken but when she does it makes you feel like you've done something magical, this girl is beautiful, cute, sweet, pretty and a credit to society. When I think of Rosie, I think of the girl I want to be with and the girl and want to love me when I can hardly breath on my own.
