Method of thinking, manner of drawing ones premises.

One was a left-leaning Atheist, the other was a wealthy Catholic minister with a good edication. They had different premises but held a mutual respect because they were from the same school of thought.

When someone portrays an act usually on social media showing themselves being “attractive” or doing exceptionally on a trend. However one’s thoughts might differ and this is where the term comes in. “She thought she ate” meaning she thought she did so good on that trend or she thought she was hot or she thought she was all that.

A train of thought is a process linking one thought to another giving a common thread.

A train of thought is used by people in debating societies (eg the Oxford Union, a famous Debating Society). Sometimes it is hard to follow a train of thought as some people tend to ramble on.
