A supporter or member of the United States political party that believes states and not national government should hold the majority of the political power.
As an independent, I am apalled at all the insults going in both directions. The only conclusion I can make is that Republicans blow and Democrats suck.

I'm a republican and supported John McCain but frankly don't care about abortion or gay marriage. Not all republicans are extreme right wing Nazis and support racism. America is the greatest country, period. I just wanted to show that not all Republicans are a Cheney or a Bush, and even though our new president is a Democrat, he has my full support, even if I don't agree with everything he says or does.

It is made up mostly of racists and bigots who want to cut Social Security and all welfare programs, incite lethal insurrections when they lose elections, worship their presidential nominee like a God, deny scientists and facts. They do all of this in the name of Christianity as if Jesus would actually support any of it. The Republican Party is a major threat to democracy and the bottom 98% of America. It's members will continue to deny every election result when it's candidates lose. The sooner the party is voted into obscurity the better.
