Pronounced Ran-ked or Ranked can mean flaking out around last minute.
Kind of like "stood up" in some cases.

Guy: Better not rank on me again!Last time you ranked on me!

rake

A suspension or structural design to lower one end of the vehicle in relation to the other end.

That's layman's terms for the angle the steering stem/column or fork makes from a vertical line 90 degrees from the ground.

Layman's terms use:
I like the rake that car has. The front is an inch lower then the rear. Perfect on that car.

An example of using the more technical definition of the term:
The rake on that frame is 30 degrees.
