To run the rabbit is to use a ticket or pass to enter a restricted area, and then give that pass through a fence or gate to a friend who then uses the same pass to enter the restricted area.

It comes from Alice in Wonderland where she fell down the Rabbit Hole into some bizarre shit (trippy stuff from the 70s). Therefore, it is commonly used as an expression or euphuism for a portal to bizzarro world/significantly strange happenings/extremely surreal situations, etc.

In Texas Hold Em, when a player has lost, and the hand has ended, but the losing player wants to see what the cards would have been. Never allowed in formal tournaments, occasionally allowed in informal games. Often called by a person who thinks they would have won. A person who rabbit hunts often is sometimes referred to as an Elmer Fudd.
