" High School Musical : The Musical : The Series ". She released her breakout debut hit single " drivers license " in the beginning of January 2021 and it went to number one on Spotify Singles Charts. Taylor Swift, Olivia's idol fangirled over the track and when " drivers license " was next to Taylor's on the itunes charts she said that she was quote " in a puddle of tears". The hit was followed by single "deja vu" in April of the same year. It didn't have the exact same success as her previous single but still a seriously great song. The pop punk and Paramore esque break up anthem "good 4 u" was released May 14 with incredible success and her debut album "SOUR" followed with the release date of May 21. Rodrigo won best new artist at the vmas and has been nominated for at least 2 grammys with the actual event still to come.
