The Mockingbird Clause

Grants anyone the ability to use the n-word as long as the person saying it was quoting a sentence which uses the n-word. Based on the book "To Kill a Mockingbird" in which the n-word would be quoted by any student reading the book to the class and not necessarily used in a hateful manner. This also applies to singing songs.
Student: Teacher! He said a bad word!

Teacher: He was just reading the book, why would I punish him? The Mockingbird Clause absolves him of any wrongdoing.

Alcohol the cause and solution of all of life’s problems: Quoted by the famous Sherlock Holmes, and homer simpson it shows how drinking can temporarily make you forget your troubles… but usually ends up creating even bigger ones. Perfect for anyone who’s learned the hard way that booze is a double-edged sword.
Lee: Bruv, I love drinking beer, it makes me forget all my problems… but next thing you know, you’ve spent loads of money, been sick, lost your wallet, upset your Mrs… and somehow you’ve got even more problems than when you started. LOL.

Frank: Yes, bruv… you know what they say Alcohol the cause and solution to life’s problems .

Lee: Init bruv LOL.

Frank: LOL.

Meta-Logical Closed Systems

A system that takes logical systems themselves as its objects of study, but does so from a fixed, immutable perspective. It is a "closed theory about logic." For example, a specific, dogmatic philosophy of mathematics that definitively states what mathematics is (e.g., "Mathematics is nothing but the manipulation of symbols according to formal rules") and refuses to consider alternative philosophies (e.g., intuitionism, realism) is a meta-logical closed system.
Meta-Logical Closed Systems Example: Strict Logical Positivism, with its verifiability principle of meaning, acted as a Meta-Logical Closed System. It declared that any statement not empirically verifiable or analytically true was literally meaningless. This meta-framework itself was not open to empirical verification, making it a self-sealing, closed system for judging all other forms of discourse and logic.

A logical framework that treats its spectra as complete, final, and exhaustive—all possible logical positions have been identified, all gradations mapped, all categories fixed. A closed spectrum system is confident, certain, and resistant to expansion. It knows what logic is, what reason is, and what truth is, and anything that doesn't fit is simply wrong. The logical system of closed spectrum is the default mode of most academic disciplines, political ideologies, and religious traditions. It provides clarity, certainty, and community—at the cost of excluding anything truly new.
Example: "Her philosophy department operated as a logical system of closed spectrum. There was Western logic (real logic), and then there was everything else (not logic). When she suggested that indigenous knowledge systems might represent different logical spectra, not failed versions of the same one, she was told that wasn't philosophy. The system was closed, and she was outside it."

Elite Out of the Closet

A sociological term for the moment when a society's dominant class stops pretending to care about the common good and openly, brazenly advocates for policies designed to entrench their own privilege. It's the end of "trickle-down" rhetoric and the beginning of "let them eat cake" policy. The "coming out" isn't about revealing a hidden identity, but about publicly shedding the mask of shared prosperity and embracing naked classism. This phenomenon is often triggered when the gap between the elite's interests and the public welfare becomes too wide to plausibly bridge with traditional propaganda.
"Did you see that op-ed where a billionaire argued that taxing the rich is 'theft' while simultaneously pushing to cut school lunch funding? That's the Elite Out of the Closet. They're not even trying to hide their self-interest anymore; they're just flaunting it."
