The act of consciously doing something to prepare yourself for a night of drinking and partying. Based on the Scout's motto to "Be Prepared".

Robin: "Oh man. I'm afraid im going to get too drunk tonight."
Beth: "Thats why im boyscoutting. I'm eating so many chicken nuggets for dinner so they'll soak up the alcohol."

Danielle: "Aww bummer! They don't sell alcohol inside the stadium."
Anne: "Yeah, I know... that's why I boyscoutted. I have a flask in my purse for later."
Danielle: "Way to be prepared!"

boyster

A term used to describe a straight man who is pleasingly happy, exuberant, boisterous. Term still applies if said qualities are fueled by alcohol or prescription drug use. Can also be spelled boister.

Shankar's not chronically happy or relentlessly happy, like those douches who think being perceived as happy (read: successful or leisure class) is a status symbol. He's just a boyster.

Boyscouts of America

A very misunderstood organization that instills morales and values into the male youth of America. It is often look down upon as uncool and homosexual due to things such as merit badges and week long all boy scout camps. In the long run, colleges and business think very highly of Eagle Scouts.

Tom: Hey Johnny, what did you do at scout camp, make lanyards and baskets?

Johnny: No, I spent the night in the mountains with my troop.

Tom: HA! You slept in the mountains with a bunch of guys? What a fag!

Johnny: Dude, I'll be the one laughing when I'm the CEO of a company and you're working at McDonalds.

*10 years later Johnny drives his Mercedes through a McDonald's drive through*

Johnny: Oh hi Tom! So you work at a McDonalds?

Tom: Yea....HEY am I still able to join the Boyscouts of America?

Johnny: No sorry! You have to be 18 or younger to earn Eagle!

Tom: Aw dam. I guess I'll join the coastguard then!

Name given to the informal links that criss-cross upper society, enabling people with power to do favours in exchange for favours with someone else in a different area of expertise. May also be called bribery and cheating buggery.

"I need a loan but my bank manager can't help me. Can you lend me a couple of thousand until the divorce is settled?" - typical plea given when consulting the Old Boy's Network.
