Coined accidentally in May 2025 by Steve Heimler (host of Heimler’s History on YouTube) during an AP U.S. History review livestream. Initially used in place of an existing idiom, the phrase quickly became an inside joke within the Heimler community upon realizing it wasn’t a real expression. Over time, it took on a dual meaning—highlighting a key point and, later, signifying doing something exceptionally well.

Get the Sock Ratmug. A Raw-Gem-Sock Donguess is a wonderful person. They know when to lift you up when you fall down and will always be there for you. Never let go of a RGSD and especially never betray one. Although they can be nice that’s only when that person deserves it. You make one mistake- RGSD will make you feel physical and emotional pain like you’ve never felt before. Once you lose their respect or trust it’s very very difficult to gain back.

Get the Poop Sock Gambitmug. A Bus Sock is a term used by touring production crews (a.k.a Roadies) to define a sock used to contain ejaculate from having illicit wanks on the tour bus. The use of a bus sock avoids having to dispose of tissues (wank rags) or collecting wanker's crisps in the bunk of the tour bus, as the Bus Sock can simply be reused until the bus arrives at its destination and then thrown into the laundry.
My bus sock is very crispy and needs washing out.
