Moose Lake, Minnesota. Also refers to the lake that the city was named after. It's the location of the State Hospital and MSOP. Population 2,200 in the summer (including prisoners, tourists, and snowbirds), and 2000 in the winter. Also has been mentioned in the popular children's video series, VeggieTales. It is close to Duluth, Minnesota.

The best town in the poconos. Located between bug boulder and jack frost ski areas. It is a very chill relaxed area, home of ski bunnys and lake bums. anything flys there because all the adults are smashed.

At Northwestern University, it refers to old tradition of dragging the field goal posts from the football field to Lake Michigan in order to dump them. This happened in the period of time when NU had one of the worst football teams in the nation, and laking the posts was done during the occasional victory or notable defeat.
