Wi-Filcher

A person who sponges off someone else's wireless network because they are too damn cheap to pay for their own.
Why the Hell should I pay $39.95 for the Internet? I'll just be a Wi-Filcher and get it from the neighbors...

WIS

WIS (Wisdom) is a stat in D&D and other role-playing systems.
From D&D wiki:
"Wisdom describes a character’s willpower, common sense, perception, and intuition. While Intelligence represents one’s ability to analyze information, Wisdom represents being in tune with and aware of one’s surroundings."
All the Gamer fanfics with characters whose WIS is too low to realize they desperately need to allocate more points to WIS are a horrible allegory for this reality.
