blue-light

One of the "Select" Bx12 buses that run from the corner of Edson Ave. and Bartow Ave. in the Bronx in New York, to the corner of 207th St. and Broadway in Manhattan, New York. The buses are run on an experimental basis to relieve overcrowding on this much-used run: one must insert a Metrocard into a special machine at key stops along the bus route in order to get a paper receipt, then board the bus from the REAR. After several minutes the bus driver will collect the paper receipts. Named for the blue lights that flash at the top, showing that the buses are the "Select" route.

I love to see that blue-light come along---it's a colorful addition to the road!

Green Light Frenzy

When every traffic light turns green in a row, usually on a long stretch of road that is very busy. Occurs rarely, but sometimes happens when you desperately need it.

Josh- "Dude, I was running late for work but down Wilder road I hit a green light frenzy and just made it with 2 minutes to spare!"

Mike- "Lucky bastard! I usually get stopped in traffic!"

bright light fright

Females who use default myspace/facebook pictures with a really bright flash to induce the illusion of being attractive in order to get guys to add them. The bright flash makes their skin tone look even, & hides any unsemetric flaws they may have (ie: acne, pot marks, gingervitas). In some cases it can even make the "fright" appear to be smaller in body class. The word "fright" settles in when you go to see the rest of her pictures.

Kuwabara: OH MY GOD!
