When You provide a seemingly perfect definition to a word on urban dictionary and even do some thoughtful editing but it doesn't get published anyways. Usually a sign that you aren't clever enough or your definition is really, really dumb.
Dude: I thought I put the perfect definition for bad comedian on urban dictionary.
Friend: what did you put?
Dude: a person who catches rotten fruit on a stage for laughs. I thought it was clever.
Friend: did it get accepted?
Dude: nope...
Friend: sounds like an urban dictionary definition fail.
Dude: yep, an epic fail for sure.
Friend: maybe we should define that term!
Dude: I hope it gets accepted.
Friend: if it doesn't, we know what it would be called!!

1. The word for the day
many people think that the word for the day is just an automatic robot that just chooses a random word to show on the homepage but some rumors say that there is someone doing it. they say that if you ever discover their identity, they will hack your device and destroy all your social media accounts.
2.Pintobean2003
pintobean2003 was an urban dictionary user that suddenly disappeared back in 2020. the rumors say he was sucked in through his device and got trapped since. so whenever you look up help in the urban dictionary, the rumors say, that you will see his face for a few milliseconds after searching it up.
3. Searching up your name in UD
it may be fun to look up your name in the Urban Dictionary to see what it will say about you but some rumors say if you look to the last page of what your name is, you will see your true name, what you do, your birthday, and your future.

A word that makes it to "word of the day" status on urbandictionary.com which is not actually in common usage but is in fact the creation of a modern-day Shakespeare-wannabe.
Dude 1: "Hey, dude, I don't want to go with my girlfriend to the opera this November."
Dude 2: "Dude, tell her that it is... uh.. Brovember, and that you have to hang out with your bros." (polishes off bottle of Jagermeister)
Dude 1: "Awesome, if I post it on Urban Dictionary then I can show her that this is a real thing and then I won't have to go!"
Satan (listening nearby): "I will ensure that this becomes an Urban-Dictionary-Turd-of-the-Day. Muhuhuhahaha!"

An absolute cunt of a human being.
"A few volunteer editors read your definition and decided not to publish it. Don't take it personally!"
"F*ck that! I f*cking hate those Urban Dictionary Volunteer Editors!"

A blatantly terrible and profoundly unsatisfying definition that makes you wonder how in the world it got accepted in the first place.
One theory is that there are two populations of Urban Dictionary editors with ingrained muscle memories that cause them to continuously click either publish or don't publish so much that even if they wanted to deviate from their tradition, their impulse takes over and a great opportunity is squandered.
Accidental Urban Dictionary publications are clearly a result of those editors that love to click publish rather than don't publish nonstop.
The opposite of accidental Urban Dictionary publications is difficult to define, since the poor people who submitted those definitions probably deserved to have their exquisitely clever definitions published but received a rejection email anyway due to judges who couldn't change their clicking pattern fast enough for one good definition in a string of bad ones.

Urban Dictionary Editor 1: Oops my muscle memory caused me to accidentally click don't publish for that definition I liked.
Urban Dictionary Editor 2: It's ok, what you just did is compensated by the fact that editors allow accidental Urban Dictionary publications through all the time.
