scene kid

Any kid involved with the music scene. Often thought of as the other use of 'scene kid' which refers to kids with brightly coloured teased hair, a lot of neon bracelets, Converse shoes and Blood On The Dance Floor but the term is much more broader. Any punk, emo, prep ect. can be considered a scene kid if they follow local bands or even touring ones. There's no point spreading hate in this lifestyle with bullshit labels because most people are in it because they don't have to much else going for them and music helped them.
Person 1: Did you see that scene kid? What a idiot she thinks she looks so cool.
Person 2: Shut up, you have a bright red mohawk and walk around in platform boots. Your doing what other people do to you right now.
Person 1: Huh.

scene kid

Or known as a "scenester". Somebody who has straight hair covering the backs of the head with a fringe (the "emo haircut") only crazier and sometimes dyed neon colors, lots of neon and bright colored clothing, neon skinny jeans, gauges, piercings, fruity-designed shirts, hoodies, sunglasses, tattoos (applies to boys) and stuff who also might have a very up-to-date teenage-friendly attitude, no rules in spelling or grammar and often likes stuff like Invader Zim and Hello Kitty as well as electropop/crunkcore/techno music. When it comes to scenesters, the girls are very likely to wear makeup and mascara with crazy and dyed bright hair, while the boys tend to wear tattoos or baseball caps. Scene isn't to be confused with emo. Emo is just a genre of music which is played by bands such Thursday, Sunny Day Real Estate, Cap'n Jazz, Such Gold, Dashboard Confessional, Braid, etc. While scene isn't really a genre of music, the music associated with the scene fad is usually autotuned dance-pop/crunkcore/techno music that most likely has a lot of criticism. Stuff in music associated with the scene style includes BrokeNCYDE, Blood on the Dance Floor, Millionaires, I Set My Friends on Fire, 3OH!3, Dot Dot Curve, etc.
Scene kid: Scene is fuking awsom!!!!!

"Emo" kid/emo music fan: Scene is a ripoff of emo.

Rocker: Scene music isn't even rock, it's dance/pop.

Parents: My children are probably going through a phase.

scene

First of all I would like to just point out that there IS a difference between scene and emo. All of the definitions make fun of scene people and are completely irrelevant opinions of judgmental assholes. So what if scene girls have choppy hair that covers up their face. IT IS HAIR. It does not matter. So what if they have face piercings, tattoos, or gauges. If that is how they want to look then let them. It is THEIR appearance and it doesn't matter what you think about it. Yes, typically boys might wear skinny jeans. IT IS PANTS. Why do you care what kind of pants they wear? Maybe they take a lot of selfies. So do a lot of other people in the world, including people who aren't scene. Maybe they take those selfies using a bathroom mirror. So does every fucking body else in the world. All scene kids aren't bitchy and self-centered. Yes. There are people who pretend to be scene and act like complete bitches who don't give a fuck about anything. People who talk like 'thugs' because they think they sound cool. Those people are called posers. And you have every right to bash out on them but not scene people. All I'm saying is so the fuck what if people dress a certain way, listen to a certain type of music, ect. ITS WHAT THEY WANT. SO. THE. FUCK. WHAT.
Fake ass scene people: Omfgg my hair looked totally sex when i went to da mall earlier homie. I prolly looked so cute becuz dis boi was starin me down

REAL scene people:normal people who dress differently and listen to different music than most other people but are human beings no different from you and me

Scene

Scenes are emos who hate being called emos. They claim that nobody understands them. But, they are usually basic white girls who pretend to like shitty music.
Symptoms:
~Enjoying EMO bands such as Pierce the Veil, Sleeping with Sirens, Black Veils Brides -- but claim they enjoy good bands such as Green Day, AC/DC, Nirvana and Guns and Roses
~Put A's and W's where they do not belong (ex. Rawr, Gawd, Lawlz)
~Put x's where they do not belong (ex. sux)
~Frizzy, damaged hair that only looks good in pictures. Feels like hay and feels like wet paper when cut. Losers may attempt and fail, getting ragged and white trash hair.
~Ripping their clothes
~No authentic style, may look to superior people for ideas
~Claim they are depressed and don't wish to talk about it, but post pictures (usually on tumblr) about their cuts and their little imperfections
~In person, they are fake and disgusting and smell like generic perfume and money
~They tend to be privileged (rich out the ass) white girls who are unpopular
~Gain popularity by loosing IQ
~"Develop" a mental disorder when they are completely healthy
~Selfish
~Misuse internet memes
~Instead of facing life, they give their energy to sulking
~Uses eyeliner for eye shadow
~Will threaten to kill themselves, but are cowards
Scene girl: I am not emo! I am a bisexual, privillaged teenager who has no means to to hate their life-- but I do! You're looking at a real scene!
