The wealthy, especially the nouveau riche, who attend opera, ballet, the the'-ater, museums and gallery openings when they'd clearly rather be watching CSI reruns. Rich boors.

Museums attract not the truely intelligent and knowledgeable but the somewhat educated, the middle brow, those aspiring to intellectual-chic, the dollar-gentsia.
