Prog Gen or Progressive Generation is a term coined for Gen Z or People born 1995-2012. This is based on the prediction that Gen Z is supposed to be very influential in changing the social culture of America and other countries around the world.

Hopefully the kids of the Progressive Gen will make the world better. unlike these milenials.

John is married to Sarah, Sarah understands that John is attracted to other women, as she is also attracted to other men, they both see other individuals with consent from each other all while being married and in love. This is a progressive marriage that is open ended with no secrets as both parties are aware of the open relationship.

Peter Pan Progressive

One who idolizes or seeks to emulate a Limousine Liberal but has neither the reputation nor the resources to actually aspire to be included the group.

Peter Pan Progressives are often middle aged white guys who refer to each other as "My Brutha" and have never taken the time or effort to analyze what they really believe or why they believe it. Often live at home with their Mom. Dress preppy and drive sports cars. Hang on the fringes of upper class society and actually think they are part of it. Their female counterparts also prefer the country club look. Once dated a "black guy" and think Jon Stewart is the messiah.

Progression fetish refers to a pattern of attraction or romantic interest in individuals who are at a further stage in life than the person they attract.
While correlated with financial status, age or power dynamics, it can go against it, since it usually happens as a result of simply perceiving the person as a source of general purpose in pursuing your aspirations.

What is classified as "progressive" varies between cultures, but the gist of what it encompasses is a desire to "progress" society; i.e., to create a society that is based on the detachment from traditional norms and practices. Examples of ideas that are considered "progressive" are:

- Expansive LGBTQ rights
- Protecting minorities from discrimination
- Tolerance of atypical gender expression
- Miscellaneous left-wing ideas such as progressive taxation
