Heading to a place where vaccinations are more readily available due to smaller populations to jump ahead in line rather than staying in your highly populated urban center and waiting your turn. Oftentimes the vaccinationcationer owns a second or third home in the rural/resort community.

The act of driving a long distance to get the COVID vaccine, due to it being in too high of demand in one’s hometown.

I couldn’t get a vaccine appointment in Kansas City where I live, so I took a vaccination vacation and drove an hour and a half to Sedalia to get my COVID shot.
