Desk messaging

When you have a conversation with someone while writing on a desk, table, etc.

Mostly done at school with a pencil on a desk when you're ridiculously bored. You write messages for other people in other periods, and someone else who's ridiculously bored will reply-thus, a desk message!

Desk messaging is the way pilgrim kids used to text message.

broken message

When someone sends a really long message and it comes through in two parts but sometimes there can be a misunderstanding with the second part and the first part is repeated. On Sony Ericsson's, a little symbol comes up with an envelope broken in two. Hence the name, broken message.

First part of text message: So yeh im writing a really long message and i really hope that this doesnt come through as a broken message cause that is really anno...

text message hand job

A text message hand job is when you are getting the "run around" from friends or family thru text messages. When you call no one answers or the reception is said to be very bad or they are in a dead zone.

Tom: hey billy,I tried texting todd and sue to see what they are doing tonite, but they text back they aren't sure, todds gonna check with sue, and then sue told me she's gotta check with todd. typical saturday night text message hand job !
billy: fuck them man! lets get some bank and hit the strip club, nothing but real handjobs going on there !
