false clarity

that state of mind at 2:04 AM when you think you feel good and you want and need to do something, but you really should just go to sleep, actually you should've done so four hours ago

i'm not sure if i'm doing myself any good by staying up at night writing this, maybe this is just me having a moment of false clarity of mind and i really really should just stop because I'm clearly not in the position to make rational, good and healthy decisions for myself RIP i'll sleep tomorrow

pretending to be nice to someone deemed "embarrassing" as a way to seem funny. often done by people who believe someone who is outcasted so they pretend to like them because its seen as embarrassing and funny to interact with them.

False respect

When somebody tries to make it seem like they respect somebody they don't really respect to get them to do something they want them to do (to get the best of somebody). Not everybody will pretend to respect somebody, but a lot of people will.

Lucky for you, you never needed the guy's false respect (or true respect) to keep going.
