When you tell a guy/girl that you like them but they are perhaps unsure of what to do or say. For example they may say 'it doesn't make a difference'. It's up to them what they do, they know that you like them, they might make a move, treat you as normal or never talk to you again.

Guy - It doesn't make a difference. =
