Someone passive interest(ed) is someone who is desperate for something but doesn't show any signs of interest in that something, basically asking them to help achieve the person the something he wants but acting cool and not worried on it.

Desperate boi : oh man, tbh I dont care about being the leader of the clan. But hey if you want to vote me go ahead.

Random user in chat: my friend I know you want it. You have a Passive Interest on being the leader of the clan.
