A broad term that describes a person typically from southern portions of the United States that works a blue collar job, has a strong southern accident, and is usually overweight. A Joe Billy can be summed up as a non-trailer park trash redneck with a well paying blue collar job but still enjoys the typical redneck lifestyle.

The most common jobs that Joe Billy’s have include: linemen, firefighters, plumbers, electricians, construction workers, farmers, and car salesmen.
