Dollop of Dread

Think ‘stage fright’. A dollop of dread is anything that makes you feel an acceptable, or sometimes expected, sensation of anxiety or tension, but usually not enough to persuade you away from whatever caused it.

I had a real dollop of dread before that last test we had to take, but I think I did alright.

dollar collar

This refers to the neck brace commonly seen on people who have been in an accident, and sustained injuries to their neck or spinal cord. It's called a dollar collar because when you get one this way, someone else is typically paying the medical bills, and some extra, and you sit around and "recuperate".

When you see a (normally black) person driving stupidly...

It's the noise the freeway offramp panhandler make. It is a noise they make when begging for money in the USA It's a concoction of three different words #1 dollar, #2 beer, #3 cigarette but seeing how they are crackhead, paint huiffers who sniff airplane glue and do not have the capablity to enunciate a real word it comes out "Dollabeerette".
