Factacular

1) Adj., Something widely recognized as factual. It typically includes quasi-science, celebrity gossip, irrelevant news stories, and other sensational garbage. It is on the cover newspapers (mostly tabloids) one day, and has faded into an oblivion the next. Usage often implies sarcasm.

2) Adj., Used in place of bullshit -- connotation is more positive.

Ex. 1:

"According to the National Enquirer, 65% of women have been sexually molested by age 4."
"That's clearly fact...acular."

Ex. 2:

"Who are you voting for in the upcoming election?"
"Rudy Giuliani."
"Why?"
"Because he'll defend my morals."
"That's factacular."

facterion

A person that is obsessed with finding and sharing random facts - normally on a Friday, which is traditionally referred to as "Fact Friday".

Facterions (pl.), are often seen as non-conformist and dangerous to approach but conversely are on the whole harmless beings despite making people who speak to them slightly nervous and uncomfortable.

Facterions have also been known to wear gloves indoors.

Example: If another facterion clogs up my inbox with one more useless fact I'm going to scream.
