One who may find themselves in protective custody while incarcerated. What type of person might be Protected? Those who can’t fend for themselves (really old, really young, disabled); those who have a target on their back (high profile individual, timid/closeted homosexual, or individuals whose crime was committed against children/elderly/animals).

I bet when he gets to prison, The South Siders are gonna whoop his ass. That is, if he doesn’t get PC’d up, like a bitch.
