Karen

A Karen is a designation given to a racist white woman who uses her privilege to hinder, oppress, or inconvenience a black individual. They have a sense of entitlement and a superiority complex that they conjure to place black people in dangerous situations often by the use of lying, police, lying to the police etc. This being said, when you constantly label people as Karens without it dealing with their racist actions to leverage themselves against black people, you dilute and take away the focus from the very real issues that black people face in day to day situations. This is sad because this same appropriation of the term and diverting the true meaning of the term seems exactly like something that a Karen would do!

Black man: A Karen almost got me locked up today.

Friend: That's terrible! What happened?

Black man: While I was moving into my nice new house earlier today she called the police on me and lied to them. She took it upon herself to inform them that a black man was robbing the place. She must not have wanted me as a neighbor or she may have been in disbelief that a black person could afford a house that was bigger than hers.

Friend: Wow that's crazy.

Black man: Yeah. The police arrived in 2 minutes flat!

Middle aged sometimes younger white/ caucasian women that complain and throws a tantrum and or acts silly and or acts with child like behavior for no reason or for the simplest reconciling situation or for attention becomes 1. They are either jealous. 2. They are either racist. 3. They haven’t gotten dick in a very long time. 4. They are having a meltdown. 5. They are mentally unstable.

Me: Minding my business and playing my music while barbecuing in my backyard.
Karen : hey you I’m going to call the police if you don’t turn off that gang banging music.

Me: go ahead and call them I’m not doing anything wrong and my music isn’t too loud.

Karen: help help some call 911 the person is attacking me. As she persists to yell and scream as though she’s under attack.

A pejorative term for a meddlesome entitled moral busy body that is always trying to lord over others and impose their will on them through various means including but not limited to legal coercion, harassment, slander, gossip, ostracization, condescension, bullying, and fear mongering. The term originates from a stereotypical middle-aged female malcontent imagined to be named "Karen" that the entire HOA neighborhood quietly loathes.

Omg, that Karen demanded to speak to the manager when she couldn't get something she wanted that was never even on the menu but she didn't realize I WAS THE MANAGER so I showed her the door. She'll probably sue us now. Oh well
