The ideology revolving around the creation of a communist society, which is a society following the abolition of class, money, and the state. Frequently, Western imperialist states project the flaws of capitalism onto communism to prevent the people from realizing their current state of oppression, and in doing so establish capitalist ideals as natural law; this phenomenon is known as cultural hegemony, coined by Antonio Gramsci.

Libertarian: Communism is when the government does everything, right? That's awful.
Person who has read books: No, dipshit, that's not communism.

Liberal: Communism places all power in the hands of the few. That's why we need liberal democracy, in which the capitalist mode of production invariably leads to monopoly!
