Charles F. Brush High School

Charles F. Brush High School, named after the man who invented the arc light, thereby making the mascot a lightbaulb, is a very diverse school. Unfortunatly, due to a student vote in the 1970's, the colors are forever brown and yellow--technically "vegas gold" but you can't tell the difference. The football team does not win, except for the 2005/2006 season which noone is really sure how that happened. The soccer team, however, is known for kicking ass. Much better than its neighbor Mayfield High School.

Sidenote: It's principal is the mother of Mike Vrabel, New England Patriots' linebacker.

Dry Brushing

The act of brushing ones teeth with no toothpaste on the brush to get rid of loose plaque or other substances on the teeth. After, you brush your teeth normally (with toothpaste) to whiten.

Dry brushing gets all the gunk of your teeth so the whitening stuff in tooth paste works better.

Brushwalk

Taking your overly energized or large dogs to remote hikes, usually off trail, where they can expend energy safely without a leash. This alleviates concerns for unsocialized or insecure dogs, builds self confidence, and allows owners and dogs to bond. Brushwalking is a fun sport for the whole family including the pets!

I'm taking the dogs brushwalking to the top of the lava butte today. They will be so worn out they can't misbehave when we get home.
