The act of sending sarcasm through text in which the textee misreads and then responds awkwardly.

Brandon didn't pick up on my textcasm now he's making his mom get an aids test.

When a person texts someone of the opposite sex that they are interested in. Usually the text is of a sexual or flirtatious nature and causes the individual texting to get a unique smirk across their face.

Bob: Hey look at Jim's face! He must be texting that girl he just met last night!
Garry: Bob how do you know that?
Bob: Garry look at his face, he's got one of those stupid text smirks!

A phenomenon started by a user on mylifeisaverage.com in which a person texts "i love you" to random phone numbers, or numbers other users post in comments on MLIA.

Guy 1: What are you doing?
Guy 2: I'm sending i love you texts. One of the people even knew what it was. Now she's saved as The Joker on my phone, and I'm Batman on hers.
