A speck is a 60-year-old balding man named Spence. This word originated from a phone call Spence made placing a food order, and the employee couldn't understand the name he was trying to say. They called him Spek, and that became a species. Now schools and streets are named Spek after this glorious man.

"I just went to the store and the employee was so rude."
