When u have more than 1 grease stain on ur hat
and u listen to jawga boyz as a drug.
.and u got a motor hanging from a tree in ur front yard
And a lifted truck with a nice paint job but nobody has ever seen ur paint job because it's always coverd in mud

Southern folk who don’t got much of an education. Probably got a brother cousin and reads at a fourth-grade level as an adult. Kind heart and a high alcohol tolerance. Shouts random sounds and calls em words.
Person 1: He kinda looks like a redneck.
Person 2: Maybe he got a brother cousin.
Redneck: YEEEEEEEEEE

The original redneck, The term redneck comes from the West Virginia Coal Miners March (aka Battle of Blair Mountain) when coal miners wore red bandanas around their necks to identify themselves as seeking the opportunity to unionize. That is the true "Redneck history."
Now days there are rednecks from different nationalities, there are even northern rednecks, white trash is racist but a redneck isn't. Some of us make low wages, or make moonshine so we will be able to make enough money to live, a true redneck will do what ever it takes to put food on the table for his family, although they may not be well educated, they will do everything it takes to make sure their children are, they want the best for their kids as any parent does, a true redneck makes the best out of a bad situation.

Donnie is a true redneck, he stands up for what's right and is willing to help someone in need, and if there was a war on American ground he would grab his gun in a heartbeat to help out!

A stereotypical working-class white Southerner. Contrary to popular belief, many rednecks live and work in urban areas.
Rednecks are almost always hardcore conservative evangelical Christians. Most rednecks do not have anything beyond a high school education.
Rednecks are very political and more easily triggered than the "libtards" they love to ridicule. Rednecks are proud of their Southern heritage. Rednecks will own multiple things that display the Confederate flag. A true redneck would have voted for Trump twice.
Rednecks enjoy watching NASCAR and college football. Other redneck pastimes include fishing, hunting, and mudding. Rednecks get most of their TV news from Fox. They love guns.
Classic hallmarks of a redneck include a fetishization of oversized pickup trucks, casual racism, nationalism, nostalgia, a jingoistic US-Centric worldview, a love of low-quality booze, and a deep hatred of anything perceived as progressive, anti-American, anti-Christian, or anti-White. Rednecks are terrified of the technological, racial, social, and economic change that America is experiencing.
Rednecks like to think of themselves as down-to-earth, unpretentious, hardworking patriots. Despite their bad rap, most rednecks are very friendly hospitable people once you get to know them. They can have positive interactions with people who are not like them. Finding topics for conversation with a redneck can be difficult, but a good rule of thumb is to not bring up politics or religion.
