dissection

An incredible melodic black metal band from Sweden, mixing harsh vocals and sounds with melodic guitar solos. Live Legacy just happens to be one of the best albums ever.
Just listen to it, tool.

dissbate

A dissbate (or disbate) is an inflammatory 'dialogue' or argument that is actually two or more people insulting each other rather than trying to get their points across in a reasonable meaningful way. Often occurs in bars. It also occurs a lot on the comments section of political blogs where people think they are debating a point but actually their points are either highly inflamatory, insulting or ad-hominem name calling. There seems often to be an element of courage dot com involved.
An example of a dissbate is:
Commenter A: George W Bush is the best goddam president this country has ever had and you're just a dumbass Defeatocrat liberal if you don't think so...
Commenter B: George W Bush is an asshole and you don't know shit cause you're a dumbass fascist asshole yourself...

If someone was capable of overhearing this conversation they may say: Man their argument started off ok but now it's devolved into a dissbate...

rhetorical dissonance

when someone doesn't take the default politically correct rhetorical position of their own stance in discussing a political issue. It leads to a false perception of cognitive dissonance by their audience, when in fact the person is abandoning rhetoric and examining the issue without rhetorical bias. It leads to an ally of a cause to be seen as the enemy for not falling in line with automatically assumed rhetorical positions.
When Bob argued the following, "I am a full supporter of gender equality. However, the SCUM Manifesto doesn't help the feminist cause. Many feminists become just as bad as chauvinists, when their responses to sexism become just as polemic," he was seen as criticizing feminism, creating rhetorical dissonance. Another example is the following: "Gay rights are very important, and they should be equal. That being said, the APA has established that orientation changes over a lifetime. The reality is that some people can and do choose to be gay, not that there's anything wrong with that."

Slick Dissing

(1) Slick dissing is to verbally attack someone in a subliminal way.
(2) It's a way to communicate a message without directly addressing them (not putting their names out).
(3) Mostly done on social media sites.

P. S.: When it happens, people that know both of them knows exactly who the slick diss is referred to and have two tabs open and seat with popcorn to see how it's going to ends up. That's why we are obsess with celebrities Twitter Wars!
