The Afrikaans word for balls/testicles. It can be used to refer to a persons balls, or to use it as a nickname for a person - either friend or foe - depends mostly on the tone you use it to indicate which one you mean.

Unmitigated gall. Having a testicular fortitude that allows a person to border between absolute cool and ultimate stupidity. When Philippe Petit walked across a high wire - 8 times - between the "twin towers" of the original World Trade Center without permission, it could be said that he exhibited extreme ballasity.

The bouncer at the bar was only 5 ft 5 inches tall! He had some ballassity kicking out people twice his size.
