A link cascade is when one is surfing the web and reads something/looks at something then, noticing a link, clicks it, reads/looks at it, notices another link, clicks it...

And the cycle continues.

*MSN today pops up*:
"Britney Spears admits to killing Micheal Jackson!"

*Clicks link & reads*
*Sees another link*:
"Paris Hilton to become president?"

*Clicks link & reads*
*Sees another link*:
"Celebs at their worst! Horrible pictures of all your favourite stars!"

*Clicks link*

2 hours later...

"Shit, it's already time for bed? That was a really bad link cascade!"

A link tease is someone who tells you about a Web link you'd be interested in, but doesn't send you the link.

Mike's a link tease. He told Ryan about a YouTube video teaching a revolutionary new style of chicken wing eating, but never instant messaged Ryan the link.

When a person is poor and in need of financial assistance, the state will sometimes provide funds for the purchase of food. The economically depressed person will be issued a "Link Card" which he or she can use as a debit card when purchasing food.

Unfortunately, the definition written by "makinde" was not correct. The Link Card is not for people in "rat infested" areas, nor is Chicago a poor excuse for a city. Further, Link Cards are not used only by "lazy" people.

Makinde needs to remove his or her prejudices before providing a a definition.

This link card works like a debit card. Use it to purchase food.

Asking someone you are emailing or IM'ing to send you a link to a specific site, video, etc. that you are talking about, and probably can't or do not want to find for yourself.
