As much as David wanted to fulfill his dream of becoming a lion tamer, childhood memories of feeling terrified by Itchy Scoops the Clown at the annual local circus caused life-long clown-shyness that doomed him to a life in Information Technology.

Shy Ronnie

The term for an empty blip on Google Wave. These blank posts generally result from either:

A) A user accidentally clicking all over the Wave page while trying to read it
B) A user who wants to reply but is unable to figure out how
C) A communication error with the site itself

A Shy Ronnie appears as if the user was attempting to type something but nothing came out.

Bob: Should we go to the park?
Jane: Sure!
Mom:
Jane: Why does Mom keep putting Shy Ronnies all over this Wave?
Bob: I dunno.
Mom:
Jane: Mom are you trying to tell us something?
Mom:
Jane: Speak up!

Shy Pod

A Poor Man's version of the Apple classic. Often indicated by the owner's reluctance to display it in public. Hence 'Shy' Pod or 'Shite' Pod if it's really cheap and nasty.

Dan: Is that an Ipod?
Sam: Nah, I can't afford one of those, so I got Ohsoshitty Mp3 player from Hong Kong.
Dan: Ah, it's a Shy Pod!
