The Millburn Effect is the sense of dread/anger/disbelief triggered by watching someone blithely make illogical and dangerous decisions that will have life-threatening consequences for themselves and others.
It is named after the biologist played by Rafe Spall in the Alien prequel science fiction film "Prometheus", who upon encountering a lethal-looking alien cobra, decides to pet it like a kitten.
It describes feelings of bewildered anger and anxiety resulting from watching people act with reckless stupidity and thus endangering themselves and others like the f**kheads they are.

"Why did Millburn try to pick up the space cobra?"
"Because he's a f*****g moron, lad."
"She's going to investigate the strange noise while alone in the house in her underwear. It's the Millburn Effect again."

The Pomegranate Effect refers to the more realistic expenditure of time. Specifically, if a project should take 10 hours to complete, it will in fact take 30 hours due to the realistic expenditure of time. This use of x3 is regularly applied in this effect. The name originated from a project wherein an artist was painting a pomegranate for a 10 hour project which in fact took 30 hours.
Sculpting this should take me 2 hours, but factoring in the Pomegranate Effect, it'll realistically take 6.

When a young person has too much plastic surgery and ends up looking like a much older person trying to look younger, such as Donatella Versace.
Did you see Lindsay Lohan on SNL last night? She needs to stop with the plastic surgery. It's starting to have the Donatella Effect.

The Camwhore Effect refers to the idea of hoarding items with intentions of using them later, even though it is never going to happen. The term derived from the countless number of camwhores to drop by 4chan every once in a while. You save all the pics of these naked amateurs, even though you are never going to look at them again.
anon1: I found 3 books in a dungeon in Skyrim. I'm just gonna place them on my bookshelf, then I will read them later
anon2: You're not gonna read them later, are you?
anon1: No...
anon2: It's the camwhore effect all over
