Defined as something you say after someone says a phrase that you disagree with but don't have any counter argument so you say "Interesting" to make it seem like they are in the wrong.
I think Radiohead's In Rainbows is their best album by far.

Passive Interest

Someone passive interest(ed) is someone who is desperate for something but doesn't show any signs of interest in that something, basically asking them to help achieve the person the something he wants but acting cool and not worried on it.
Desperate boi : oh man, tbh I dont care about being the leader of the clan. But hey if you want to vote me go ahead.
