(1) It's a term you call a person who just disappears and reappears in the least expected time. A chill mushroom is someone who should be physically busy at work, but mentally struggling to finish his/her backlogs in real life.
(2) Chill mushrooms may have been seen as "lazy" because they do nothing when in fact, they're just drained and too tired to absorb everything. Hence, most of the time they stick to hobbies that will make them feel better and fight the anxieties in their external environment and their internal demons. When they talk to you, they make it seem like they have it all figured out and they send cute selfies but the truth is that they just want to mentally disappear and have a break from everything. They disappear and appear every now and then just like a forest mushroom. Hence, the nickname "chill mushroom"
(3) If you would take time to get to know them better, they are the sweetest and most caring people to ever exist despite their stressful lifestyle that is often misunderstood. Their heart is as big as the world, they will listen and keep you company as much as they can even though they are also silently struggling. They are incredibly smart and hard-working in their own way. However, they don't see these qualities oftentimes because they have impostor syndrome. So you meet a chill mushroom, give him/her the warmest hug! Let them know that their feelings are valid and tell them it's okay if all they did today was breathe.

Girl 1 : Have you met Laura?
Girl 2 : Who is she?
Girl 1 : She is the chill mushroom in our class! She seems like she's profusely unwinding but the truth is she's been through a lot. I want to hug her.
Girl 2 : Oh now I remember! Yes, me too. I want to befriend her!

A term that draws it's history from the United States Military, particularly the combat arms. It refers to a management concept adopted either accidentally or on purpose by shitty leaders. This leadership style is defined by being light on details and withholding information. Concurrently shitty leaders will ensure that the information that does get passed along is either incorrect or unreliable (See Bullshit)
Lit:
Keeping subordinates in the dark and feeding them shit.

Ex:
Bob: Hey bob, do we know the plan?
Dave: No Dave, we're still getting the mushroom treatment, we'll probably figure that shit out when it's too late to do anything about it.
