Mallory is hilarious, pretty, and an amazing friend. She may cook on her own forehead or flat ass, but it’s alright because her friends are worse than her. I love pulling all nighters and drinking chocolate milk with her. She has no problem making new friends, and is practically dating her mans after only talking for a week. Mellow Yellow

1. A song by the 60's song artist Donovan. The song's influence was from a short-lived rumor that a euphoric high could be reached by smoking banana leaves. The song became very popular in the late nineties after a cover was made for a series of Gap clothing commercials.

2. A Coca-Cola product with high caffeine and citrus flavor; not related to banana leaves at all.

1. (lyrics)- "...electrical banana, it's gonna be a sudden craze..."

1. (ex.)- "Did you see that Gap commercial? Who sings that 'mellow yellow' song?"

A person, place, thing or action that destroys one's cool and laid back mood, at least temporarily.

Can be used interchaneably with the corresponding phrase 'harshed my mellow'.

Usually stated as, "Doooooode....that's a mellowharsher."

Bob lied to me yesterday, and when I found it, it really harshed my mellow. It was a mellowharsher.
